Sam Greenwood Aesthetics and Skin
Natural, subtle aesthetics & advanced skin treatments in Yeovil
Description
I’m Sam Greenwood, founder of Sam Greenwood Aesthetics and Skin in Yeovil, Somerset.
My approach is consultation-led, safety-focused and centred around natural results. I don’t believe in treating a face simply because a treatment can be performed. I assess the individual, their concerns, skin quality and facial anatomy before recommending what I genuinely believe will benefit them — and sometimes that means recommending no treatment at all.
Before entering aesthetics, I spent 18 years in the British Army. That background has had a huge influence on the way I practise: high standards, attention to detail, continual learning and an unwillingness to compromise on safety.
I have a particular interest in pro-ageing aesthetics, skin rejuvenation and regenerative treatments, helping clients address changes such as skin laxity, volume loss and declining skin quality without changing what makes them look like themselves.
My aim is simple: for clients to look refreshed, healthy and confident — never overdone.

Alongside industry recognition, I continue to invest heavily in regulated education and advanced training across aesthetics and skin. My background includes 18 years in the British Army, alongside qualifications and experience in first aid instruction, education and training, and advanced aesthetics and skin treatments.
A client in her mid-50s originally came to me requesting facial profiling, with her main concern being visible facial ageing.
During consultation, however, it became clear that jumping straight into facial profiling wasn't where I wanted to start. She had no established skincare routine, drank very little water, did not routinely use SPF and had lifestyle factors that were likely contributing to the overall quality and appearance of her skin.
Rather than immediately treating perceived volume loss with dermal filler, I recommended that we first focus on improving skin quality and hydration. We agreed on a course of three HydroMax skin booster treatments alongside advice around her everyday skin health.
By the end of the three-treatment course, the improvement had exceeded what the client had originally hoped to achieve. Her skin appeared healthier, more hydrated and rejuvenated, and importantly we had achieved a significant improvement without immediately progressing to the facial profiling she initially thought she needed.
This case reflects the way I practise: assessing the whole picture rather than simply providing the treatment a client initially asks for. Sometimes the most appropriate treatment plan is very different from the one they expected when they walked through the door.
